前兩天，美國總統(tǒng)特朗普說自己正在服用抗瘧疾藥物羥氯喹(hydroxychloroquine)，目的是為了預(yù)防感染新冠病毒。

不過幾天后，特朗普卻話鋒一轉(zhuǎn)：

美國時間20日，特朗普表示，他服用羥氯喹的療程“最近一兩天”就會結(jié)束。

U.S. President Donald Trump indicated Wednesday that he will finish his preventative hydroxychloroquine regimen "in a day or two."

據(jù)美國《國會山報》網(wǎng)站報道，特朗普當(dāng)天會面阿肯色州、堪薩斯州州長，他對記者說：“我想最近一兩天就能結(jié)束療程。我想就在兩天內(nèi)。”

"I think the regimen finishes in a day or two. I think it's in two days," Trump told reporters during a meeting with the governors of Arkansas and Kansas.

報道指出，特朗普此前說自己服藥已超過一周，意味著他可能服用這種藥物大約兩周時間。不過目前并不清楚特朗普為何停止服用，因為他認(rèn)為該藥物有預(yù)防新冠病毒的效果。

The president previously said he started taking the drug more than a week ago, meaning he would have been on it for roughly two weeks. It's unclear why Trump would stop taking the drug if he believed it worked as a prophylactic to prevent the virus.

報道中還提及，白宮方面一直對特朗普服藥的細(xì)節(jié)守口如瓶，也沒有給出服藥劑量或者服藥的具體時間線。由于缺少相關(guān)信息，以至于有懷疑論質(zhì)疑特朗普是否真的服用了羥氯喹。

But the White House has been tight-lipped about any specifics of the president's intake. It has not provided any details about his dosage or a specific timeline for how long he's been taking the drug. The lack of information has bred skepticism about whether the president is actually taking hydroxychloroquine.

當(dāng)天早些時候，白宮發(fā)言人麥肯尼在發(fā)布會上解釋稱，羥氯喹有非常好的安全性，但應(yīng)由醫(yī)生開具處方。

據(jù)CBS新聞網(wǎng)報道，特朗普因為使用該種藥物會成為輿論焦點，而該藥物并未證明有預(yù)防或治療新冠的效果。美國食品藥品監(jiān)督管理局（FDA）曾警告，除了在醫(yī)院或臨床試驗，不要用該藥物。

The president has taken heat for his use of the drug, which is largely unproven for preventing or treating the coronavirus. The Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning against its use outside a clinical setting or trial.

同樣在20日，世界衛(wèi)生組織緊急項目負(fù)責(zé)人邁克爾·瑞安也表示：尚未發(fā)現(xiàn)羥氯喹或氯喹對治療或預(yù)防新冠肺炎有效。實際上，恰恰相反，許多機(jī)構(gòu)已就該藥物的潛在副作用發(fā)出警告，很多國家已限制該藥物僅可用于新冠肺炎臨床試驗，或在醫(yī)院有醫(yī)生監(jiān)督下服用。

Michael Ryan, executive director of the Health Emergencies Programme of the World Health Organization (WHO) on Wednesday warned against using hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine, the drugs for malaria and other diseases, in the treatment of COVID-19, saying these drugs should be reserved for use "within clinical trials".

"And in fact the opposite, warnings have been issued by many authorities regarding the potential side effects of the drug and many countries have limited its use to that of clinical trials or during clinical trials or under the supervision of clinicians in a hospital setting that's specifically for COVID-19, because of a number of potential side effects that have occurred and could occur," Ryan stressed.

另據(jù)央視新聞報道，世衛(wèi)組織衛(wèi)生緊急項目技術(shù)主管瑪麗亞·范·科霍夫表示，目前已有超過120個候選疫苗正在研發(fā)，實際數(shù)量肯定還要更多，其中一些正在進(jìn)行臨床評估。
