想象一下：五顏六色的煙花綻放開來，人們大聲歡呼，耳邊響起煙花的聲音。但你卻沒有感到室外欣賞煙花的寒風——其實你正坐在溫暖的室內(nèi)，看著電腦。

 

Picture this: Colorful sparks spread and scatter (綻開) into stunning flowers. People are cheering aloud as the sound of fireworks whooshes (嗚嗚作響) in your ears. Yet, you are not standing out in the freezing cold, but rather are sitting feeling warm in front of your computer.

 

 

 

這正是孫皋和幾個同學在去年的除夕夜經(jīng)歷的事情——他們在 Minecraft 服務器上組織了一場虛擬煙花表演，有超過 50 名玩家參加，獨特的體驗感讓大家都很開心。

 

That was exactly what several classmates and I experienced on Chinese New Year’s Eve – we organized a virtual firework display on a Minecraft server with over 50 players in attendance. This kind of experience can honestly be inspiring. When some customs don’t suit modern lifestyles, they can be moved online instead.

還記得去年爆火的游戲《原神》中的京劇唱段《神女劈觀》嗎？音樂和科技的完美融合，也讓打鐵花表演熠熠生輝。似乎每一種傳統(tǒng)文化都可以在科技的加持下再次閃耀光芒。

 

Remember when Shen Nyu Pi Guan (《神女劈觀》), a Peking Opera song from the game Genshin Impact (《原神》), went viral last year? While opera goes well with video games, the traditional datiehua performance glistens (閃耀) on high-end cameras. It seems that almost every part of distinctive Chinese culture – tangible (有形的) or intangible – can be revived (復蘇) with the spring wind of technology. 

 

 

 

現(xiàn)代科技與傳統(tǒng)文化的碰撞早就不是什么新鮮事兒了。對于那些瀕臨失傳或正在被遺忘的傳統(tǒng)文化，科技的加持讓它們再次“活起來”。

 

With each passing year, technology is used more and more in the preservation of Chinese customs and traditions. For those traditions which were once on the verge of dying and being forgotten, technology gives a helping hand.

也許有人會質(zhì)疑，改變傳統(tǒng)文化的呈現(xiàn)方式還是原來的文化嗎？但對于年輕人來說，答案似乎很簡單。無論形式如何變化，但歸根結(jié)底，堅實的傳統(tǒng)文化核心才是關鍵，在和文化對話的過程中，我們也找到了真正的自己。

 

Still, some might question if changing the vehicle for traditions might result in a loss of meaning. But the answer seems simple for those of us in the younger generation. Although solid, conventional forms can say more, it is the cultural core of these traditions that speaks to the heart and really makes us who we are.
