美國一男子認為新冠病毒是“騙局”而參加“新冠聚會”，最終染病身亡，到生命終結(jié)時他才意識到：自己錯了。

據(jù)�？怂剐侣劸W(wǎng)報道，美國得州圣安東尼奧衛(wèi)理公會醫(yī)院的醫(yī)生Jane Appleby介紹稱，一名年輕男性在參加“新冠聚會”后死于新冠肺炎。

A Texas hospital says a patient who was a healthy young man died from coronavirus after attending a “COVID” party. The unidentified 30-year-old man died at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, according to the hospital’s top doctor, Jane Appleby.

Appleby表示，所謂“新冠聚會”，即為聚會中有確診者，然后人們故意聚集來驗證病毒是否真實存在，是否有人會被感染。

“This is a party held by somebody diagnosed with the COVID virus, and the thought is people get together to see if the virus is real and if anyone gets infected,” Appleby said.

該男子也確實是故意參加了一場有感染者的“新冠聚會”。在這名男子臨死前，他看著護士說道：“我想我錯了，我以為新冠病毒是場騙局，但它不是。”

The patient intentionally attending a party with an infected person. Just before the person died he looked at the nurse and he said, “I think I made a mistake. I thought it was a hoax but it's not,” she said.

Appleby說道，這僅僅是社區(qū)中本可以免于死亡的年輕人中的一例，該醫(yī)院還收治了其他“病情嚴重”的20-30歲新冠患者。

“This is just one example of an avoidable death in a young member of our community,” she said. The hospital is treating other COVID-19 patients in their 20s and 30s who are “severely ill”.

然而，不能正確看待新冠疫情的人，卻不止他一個。據(jù)商業(yè)內(nèi)幕網(wǎng)站報道，俄亥俄州一男子曾在臉書發(fā)文“對媒體炒作不買賬”，并表示不會戴口罩，最終死于新冠肺炎。

文章援引CBS旗下19 News網(wǎng)站報道，俄亥俄州37歲男子Richard Rose于3日去世，距離他新冠病毒檢測呈陽性僅過了兩天時間。而在此前數(shù)月，他在臉書上不斷宣稱“佩戴口罩是炒作”，同時頻繁出入當(dāng)?shù)鼐瓢珊筒蛷d。而在出現(xiàn)癥狀后他在臉書上寫道，連坐著都感到呼吸困難。

Richard Rose, a 37-year-old Ohio man, died July 3 — just two days after testing positive for COVID-19, according to CBS affiliate 19 News.Throughout the prior months, Rose was vocal on Facebook about what he called "that damn hype" of mask wearing, and frequently checked in at bars and restaurants throughout the state. Once he developed symptoms, he wrote about them, too, saying he could barely breathe just sitting.

CNN：年輕人陷新冠誤區(qū)

據(jù)CNN 6日報道，美國Z世代和千禧一代的新冠肺炎感染者數(shù)量激增，盡管這些年輕成年人患者的死亡率較低，但是很多人將面對疾病帶來的長期影響。

New Covid-19 infections have skyrocketed in the Gen Z and millennial age groups. And while the death rate is lower among young adults, many are struggling with long-term effects from the disease.

佛羅里達州州長Ron DeSantis曾在6月末表示，3月份時佛州的感染人群年齡中位數(shù)大約為60多歲。然而在過去數(shù)周，這一數(shù)字變成了30出頭。

In Florida, the median age group for those infected back in March was people in their 60s. But in the past few weeks, that median age has plummeted to young adults in their early 30s, Gov. Ron DeSantis said in late June.

CNN總結(jié)道，面對新冠肺炎疫情，有些美國人民的誤區(qū)之一便是：我年輕又健康，所以并不擔(dān)心（I'm young and healthy, so I'm not worried.）。

據(jù)世衛(wèi)組織統(tǒng)計，截至北京時間14日9時，美國新冠肺炎確診人數(shù)超336萬，死亡人數(shù)超13.5萬。
