In the latest trailer for Disney's live-action remake of the 1998 animated film, Mulan (Liu Yifei) rejects her path of marriage and instead decides to fight in place of her father in the Chinese army by posing as a man.

The action-packed trailer shows the lead up to Mulan's brave decision, her training alongside the men in the army, and warnings of what will happen if her secret is discovered.

預(yù)告片的開頭，花木蘭的父親講述了在中國文化中女性到底意味著什么。他告訴女兒木蘭，“你的使命就是要為家族帶來榮耀。你認(rèn)為自己可以做到嗎？”

預(yù)告中還展現(xiàn)了一段木蘭“對鏡貼花黃”的鏡頭。

The footage, dropped last Thursday, begins with Mulan’s father (Hua Zhou) expressing what it means to be female in Chinese culture.

“Your job is to bring honor to the family,” he tells his daughter. “Do you think you can do that?”

The new trailer reveals the shape-shifting witch villain of the piece, played by Chinese megastar Gong Li.

Battle scenes ensue, including a shot where the enemy witch figures out Hua Mulan’s true female identity. She then fights with her hair down, owning who she really is.

“I’m Hua Mulan, I will bring honor to us all,” she vows.
