For my whole career, Rio has seemed like an unobtainable dream.
The perfect city, perfect setting, perfect weather, perfect people and now here it all is.
I head straight to the beach.
The light is just right.
I'm Stephan Alvarez and I'm here in Rio De Janeiro, one of the seven wonders of the world.
Documenting the landscape, the culture, the people with Nokia Lumia smartphones.

Rio continues to surprise me. Home of the world's largest "urban forest".
I'm inside the city, yet in the mountains by a secluded wilderness waterfall all at the same time.
We found a goup of kids playing soccer at the top of the neighborhood.
I love shooting with these Lumias because they are incredibly good cameras.
In a form factor, that gives access to incredible stuff.
They don't intimidate people.
So finding folks on the street, you can take a picture of them, share with them immediately, and you make friends.
Another thing I love about the camera is they geotag everything.
So I go back. I'll look at the photographs, and I know immediately where they were.
So If I want to go back that cafe that have the great cappuccino, or the sweet surfboard, all I have to do is look at my images in Storyteller. |
里約熱內(nèi)盧不斷帶給我驚喜。這里有全球最大的“城市森林”。
我身處城市，卻能同時(shí)夠體驗(yàn)到山中隱蔽的瀑布。
我們發(fā)現(xiàn)幾個(gè)小男孩正在屋頂玩足球。
我喜歡使用Lumia手機(jī)拍攝，因?yàn)樗鼈兊臄z像頭很棒。
手機(jī)外形小巧，卻能拍出精美的照片。
也不會(huì)讓人感到不安。
我們?cè)诮稚想S意找些人，為他們拍照，即刻便能一起分享，之后更成為了朋友。
我喜歡Lumia手機(jī)的另外一個(gè)原因是每張照片都會(huì)進(jìn)行地理標(biāo)記。
當(dāng)我回顧這些照片時(shí)，便能立刻知道照片的拍攝地點(diǎn)。
如果我想回到那個(gè)有著美味卡布奇諾的咖啡館，或者是再看一次漂亮的沖浪板，我只需看下Storyteller中的照片便可知道位置。 |

The storm that moved in was enormous. Huge black clouds, lots of lighting, crashing thunder.
We have shot lightings before.
Its always required luck.
The Lumia 1520 fires so fast I managed to capture a streak of lightning as it struck across the bay.
I can't believe I shot lighting on a smartphone.
I found that working without a viewfinder is liberating
I'm a much looser photographer with a Lumia than with a DSLR.
I feel free and the sheer fun of it inspires me to try new things. |
大風(fēng)暴即將來臨。烏云密布，電閃雷鳴。
我們之前也拍到過閃電，
但這需要運(yùn)氣。
Lumia 1520拍攝速度如此之快，我拍攝了一道閃電劃破天空的照片。

It is hot. It is humid. It is steep.
I'm glad my cameras don't weigh any more.
It's incredible.
I mean, look at this.
At the harbor, you get the sun coming up.
We just saw the lights in the city go down.
What a fantastic place.
In a landscape like this, It hard to believe it even exists.
Wow, there it is.
I think we are just beginning to discover the possibilities.
