“不撿垃圾vs不對垃圾負責，哪個更惡劣？”

要說這款運動究竟有什么特別之處，從名字上大家也能看出一些端倪了~

（圖源：Indian Express）Plogging是瑞典語“撿垃圾”plocka skräp (pick up litter)+“慢跑”jogga (jog)的合體。所以，不用多解釋，它的意思就是一邊慢跑一邊撿垃圾~

（圖源：Daily Mail）據(jù)一款運動app統(tǒng)計，比起單純慢跑，plogging這項愛護環(huán)境的運動著實更加有效。因為在做這項運動的同時，你不僅要彎腰，還得拎著垃圾，所以半個小時下來平均就能消耗288卡路里，比正常慢跑的235卡路里要多。

According to fitness app Lifesum, which allows users to input and track calories burned while plogging, the eco-friendly work-out is significantly more effective than just jogging.As plogging requires some bending and arm strength to hold all the garbage, a half hour of plogging will burn 288 calories on average - compared to just 235 calories from regular jogging.

The plogging movement was started by Erik Ahlström in 2016. After moving to Stockholm from a small ski-community in northern Sweden, Ahlström became frustrated with the amount of litter he saw while riding his bike to work every day.大叔表示，那么多垃圾簡直讓自己驚呆了，就放在路邊好幾個禮拜都沒人管，所以自己就動手了，哪怕是只清理了一小塊地方心里也好受些。

“I was shocked by the amount of junk there was in nature,” says Ahlström. “The same debris could remain in the road for several weeks without anyone picking it up, so I started picking it up. It felt good in my heart to clean up even a small place.”

Stopping to clean up trash became a habit, then a part of his exercise routine as he incorporated the activity into his runs. 不過，有許多人是先行動起來，才了解plogging這項運動的。美國網(wǎng)友Emily Wright就是其中之一。她撿到過煙頭、塑料瓶，還有一堆用過的尿不濕，當時可把她惡心壞了……

Many people, like Emily Wright of Alexandria, Virginia, the US, had plogged for a while before learning the activity actually had a name.Some of the items Wright picks up include cigarette butts, plastic bottles and “an alarming number of full diapers. They turn my stomach the most,” she told The Washington Post. Plogging并不總是輕松愉快，但相比之下，放在那里不撿更讓Emily害怕。她對《華盛頓郵報》說，“撿垃圾我當然覺得惡心，但是我想如果一個人不負起責任來，這事兒才更惡劣。”
