1. Entering the Menu
- Access Method 1: Press and hold the Pressure Start/Stop Button and Ramp Button and at the same time connect the power cord into the AC inlet. Don’t loosen your hand from the buttons until the Maintenance Menu appears on display screen as below. OR
- Access Method 2: Press and hold the + Button and – Button when the BPAP is at work. Don’t loosen your hand from the buttons until the Maintenance Menu appears on display screen as below.
Note: This process would not influence the operation of BPAP. Only firmware version 1.83 and following versions have the function of Access Method 2.
This is the mode-selection menu. The available modes are:

2. Navigating the Menu
Press the Ramp button to enter change-status and press +/- User Buttons to change the setting. Press Ramp Button again to confirm the setting. Press +/- User Buttons to access the next settings as below.
Note: Settings in single dashed box are only available through Access Method 2. |
IMPORTANT! |
If at any time you wish to exit the Maintenance Menu without change, press the Pressure Start/Stop Button and the display will go back to the system standby screen (Access Method 1) or go on to work (Access Method 2). |
IMPORTANT! |
To make all changes active, press the +/- User Button to access the SAVE setting and Ramp Button to save all changes and exit the Maintenance Menu. |
Treat P: (For CPAP mode only) |
Indicates that a CPAP pressure setting is being displayed. You can adjust the pressure from 4 hPa to 20 hPa in 0.5 hPa increment. |
EPAP: (For S, T, and S/T Mode) |
Expiratory Positive Airway Pressure. This pressure is set as the prescription pressure or less. Setting range is 4-20hPa (20T), 4-25hPa (25T/30T). Adjustment step is 0.5hPa. Default setting is 6hPa. |
IPAP: (For S, T, and S/T Mode) |
Inspiratory Positive Airway Pressure. This pressure is set as the prescription pressure or less. Setting range is 4-20hPa (20T), 4-25hPa (25T), and 4-30hPa (30T). Adjustment step is 0.5hPa. Default setting is 8hPa. |
Res Rate: (For T and S/T Mode) |
Respiratory Rate. Default setting is 10. Setting range is 3-40. Adjustment step is 1. |
E/I Rate: (For T and S/T Mode) |
Ratio rate of exhale time to inhale time. Setting range is 1-6. Default setting is 2. |
Rise Time: (For S, T and S/T Mode) |
It is intended to change time switching between EPAP and IPAP. Setting range is 0-3 with time gradually increasing. Default setting is 2
Note: This setting is only available through Access Method 2. |
I sense: (For S and S/T Mode) |
It is intended to adjust inspiration synchronism of patient and device. Inspiration trigger point of the device is varying in accordance with patient’ inspiration. Setting range is 1-8 with sense gradually increasing. Default setting is 6.

E Sense: (For S and S/T Mode) |
It is intended to adjust expiration synchronism of patient and device. Expiration trigger point of the device is varying in accordance with patient’ expiration. Setting range is 1-8 with sense gradually increasing. Default setting is 7.

Ramp: |
For CPAP mode, this setting is the ramp time from Init P to Treat P; For S, T, S/T mode, this setting is the ramp time from Init EPAP to prescription EPAP and the differential pressure of IPAP and EPAP is in accordance with that of presetted prescription IPAP and prescription EPAP. This setting can gradually increase the output pressure to the prescription pressure for the convenience of falling asleep.
Setting range is 0-60mins with the adjustment step of 5mins. Default setting is 0 min. The device reduces the output pressure and starts the countdown every time the Ramp key is pressed during therapy. |
Init P: (For CPAP mode)
Init EPAP: (For S, S/T, and T mode) |
The starting pressure after blower is turned on. Setting range is 4hPa to Treatment Pressure (Prescription Pressure). Adjustment step is 0.5hPa. Default setting is 4hPa.
This feature will reduce the pressure and then gradually increase (ramp) the pressure to the prescription pressure setting so you can fall asleep more comfortably. |

Use Time: |
Total hours this device has been used will appear. This number is only for reference. |
Save and Exit: |
If the settings are finished, please press the +/- user button to access the SAVE setting and press Ramp button to confirm all changes and exit the maintenance menu. If you want to cancel the settings, press Start/Stop button to roll back all your settings. |
