On a vehicle where the space is limited, the cooling fan dimensions may be appropriately reduced. However, certain technical measures should be taken to improve the work efficiency of the fan so that the cooling requirements could be satisfied.

      No other heat sink for cooling purpose (such as the heat sink of the air conditioner) is permitted in front of the intercooler, which should be kept away from the vehicle body components to facilitate airflow. The windward surface of the intercooler should not be too large or too small. Generally, it should be 3/5 of the windward area of the heat sink on the water tank. If the area is too small, the intercooling effect will be imperfect and affect the engine performance; and if it is too large, it is likely to degrade the heat dissipating performance of the cooling water, resulting in the water temperature in the engine becoming too high. For construction purpose, the windward area of the intercooler may be the same as that of the heat sink on the water tank on a vehicle of which the engine is mounted at the rear.
      空-空中冷器的阻力一般≤5kPa,中冷后空氣的溫度≤60℃,中冷器與發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)連接的膠管必須采用夾布硅橡膠管,在溫度-40℃
      The resistance of the air-to-air intercooler is normally ≤5kPa. The inter-cooled air temperature is ≤60℃. The rubber hose connecting the intercooler to the engine must be cloth-lined silicone pipes, which should remain functional under the temperature of -40℃~200℃ and the pressure of 300kPa.
