《神奇動物》里有多少中國神獸？這回是麒麟......

時隔四年，“神奇動物”系列終于重回大銀幕。
盡管目前國內(nèi)多地仍在抗疫的關(guān)鍵時刻，也有超過半數(shù)的影院還處于“暫停”狀態(tài)之中，比北美提前一周在中國內(nèi)地上映的《神奇動物：鄧布利多之謎》（Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore），仍迅速拿下全國票房冠軍。
Despite around 57 percent of the country's cinemas being closed due to the pandemic resurgence, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore — the latest installment of the titular series, a spin-off of the Harry Potter franchise — has seized the top slot of China's box office charts since its domestic release on April 8, one week earlier than the North America.
鄧布利多（Albus Dumbledore）和格林德沃（Gellert Grindelwald）這對魔法圈的黑白兩道“扛把子”，終于就他們的青蔥往事，給粉絲們一個交代。
羞澀而內(nèi)向的魔法動物學(xué)家紐特·斯卡曼德（Magizoologist Newt Scamander）也再次展現(xiàn)了他的舞蹈才華，帶著一群小蝎尾獸（blast-ended skrewts）們扭扭腰、擺擺腿，跳得萌勁十足。
不過，正如這個系列的名字所提示的，本片最大的亮點(diǎn)（draw）之一，依然是千姿百態(tài)的神奇動物們（a variety of fantastic beasts）。如果這個系列能出個神奇動物紀(jì)錄片的番外篇（spin-off），保不齊粉絲們愿意看上一百集。
如果神奇動物們有個“想擼排行榜”，嗅嗅泰迪（Teddy, a niffler）一定會名列前茅。泰迪對“bling bling”的東西的熱愛，在這部新片中，簡直達(dá)到了巔峰，有一幕是泰迪縱身一躍，不顧一切要在半空中去救護(hù)樹羅鍋皮克特（Pickett, a bowtruckle），然而這個結(jié)果，一定是你萬萬想不到的。
Just as the franchise' title shows, one of the new movie's top draws is the fantastic creatures, both new and familiar, from the celebrated species like the tiny branch-like bowtruckle and the rodent-like niffler, to the fresh faces such as the dragon-like Snallygaster.
對于中國粉絲而言，最讓大家親切的，可能是看完這部片后，碰上老師敲黑板問“神奇動物在哪里？”我們可以自豪地回答：“在中國！”
在開頭一幕中，搖曳的竹林（bamboo jungle）之中，紐特尋找到一只正在分娩的麒麟，它生下了一對可愛嬌美的雙胞胎小麒麟。這一對可妥妥是“中國神獸”哦。
The magical Qilin (pronounced chillin) is seen in both its adult and baby forms. While the adult resembles a cross between a dragon and a horse, the baby appears more like a fawn. Revered in the magical community, this rare creature possesses the innate ability to see into a person's soul and know if they are pure of heart — a gift that makes the qilin integral to Grindelwald's machinations to seize power as well as Dumbledore's plan to stop him.

The action of the new movie spans six countries over three continents, with the location to seek out qilin is set in a remote mountainous region of Asia.

In order to re-create that environment in an authentic way, a small team of filmmakers embarked on a scouting trip to find the perfect backdrop for the Magizoologist's quest to find the treasured beast. The Detian Falls in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, and the Lijiang River in Guilin provided just the right look for the setting.
而鳳凰，作為在首部哈利·波特小說中就亮相的中國神獸，這次也以“半涅槃”的狀態(tài)歸來。
每當(dāng)身世坎坷的克雷登斯出場時，一只鳳凰盤旋在他頭頂，但鳳凰羽翼已焦，灰燼在微燃燒的火苗中，隨風(fēng)飄落，預(yù)示著克雷登斯的生命也將走向盡頭。
A beast known and loved by any Wizarding World fan, the Phoenix soars backs to the film; however, being connected to Credence, it reflects what is happening within him. As the movie wants to make it appear as if it's nearing the end of its lifecycle, it is less red and vibrant and much grayer than before. Audience will see there are flames coming from its wings and it is dropping ash as it flies.
