7月1日，廣州市教育局發(fā)布《關(guān)于開(kāi)展人工智能課程改革實(shí)驗(yàn)區(qū)、校遴選的通知》，將在全市遴選若干實(shí)驗(yàn)區(qū)和100所左右實(shí)驗(yàn)學(xué)校，開(kāi)展中小學(xué)人工智能課程實(shí)驗(yàn)。
The provincial capital's bureau of education is now selecting about 100 schools to feature the pilot AI courses and further promote intelligent education.
通知表示，人工智能是引領(lǐng)未來(lái)的戰(zhàn)略性技術(shù)，在廣州中小學(xué)推進(jìn)人工智能與教育融合創(chuàng)新發(fā)展，是人工智能時(shí)代賦予教育的重要使命。

在試點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)基礎(chǔ)上，將開(kāi)展廣州市3-8年級(jí)人工智能校本課程教材研發(fā)及送審工作，進(jìn)一步推動(dòng)廣州智慧教育示范區(qū)課程建設(shè)，實(shí)施廣州市智慧教育示范區(qū)AI+創(chuàng)新工程，促進(jìn)教育變革創(chuàng)新，培育青少年計(jì)算思維、信息素養(yǎng)、創(chuàng)新能力和合作精神，儲(chǔ)備拔尖創(chuàng)新人才。
The pilot courses in those shortlisted schools are expected to build a strong AI talent pool for universities and colleges in the future.
到2022年，廣州市將實(shí)現(xiàn)人工智能教育覆蓋全市學(xué)校，培養(yǎng)適合未來(lái)社會(huì)的創(chuàng)新型人才。
By 2022, all primary and middle schools in the city will have AI courses in their regular curriculum to help train and nurture AI talent for the city, traditionally a commercial hub.
