Smile award
Here is a program to recognize your Team Members that go the EXTRA Smile.
What is the Smile award?
The Smile award is designed to recognize your team members who perform best in class guest
care at the store level. The goal for the Smile award is to provide you with a tool to say thank
you for going above and beyond to your team.
How it works:
Order smile awards through the resource center
Give smile awards to team members who “Wow” your guests by their guest care
Fill out smile award
Present the smile award in a way that will make that team member feel special
They should know exactly why they received their award
Fill out recognition form and submit to your Franchise Relation Leader (with picture if
available).
Your team member may be recognized nationally for going the extra smile.
What’s in it for them?
The team member will receive a Smile award to wear on their uniform. This pin will signify their
dedication to spreading smiles and encourage best in class guest care. Think of ways to make
it special when you give out the award.

Smile awards also provides franchisees with another tool to inspire best in class guest care.
A few examples of going the extra smile:
Your guest sends an email and recognizes your team member by name.
Your team member covers multiple shifts for other team members with a smiley attitude.
Your guest gives you verbal feedback of your team member’s performance.
